The Pinawa Community Development Corporation (PCDC) is a registered non-profit organization that has existed since May 29, 1996. The PCDC supports all the components of business, service, tourism, infrastructure development, and effective operations that make local economic and community growth possible.

We aid in population recruitment and support infrastructure and service projects that meet local needs and growth requirements.

We connect, coordinate, and collaborate with partner agencies and the community to achieve mutual goals.

We Promote Pinawa and its assets to residents, visitors, and new businesses.

We support economic development by providing advice and information to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. We also promote local businesses, products, and services, and encourage local spending.

Governance
The PCDC is a registered non-profit organization that is owned by Pinawa community members and funded primarily by the LGD of Pinawa. The Pinawa CDC works with its funding partners to lead the economic, social, and environmental development of Pinawa. The Pinawa CDC board is responsible for setting the vision, mission, and priorities of the PCDC, ensuring good governance, and maintaining operational oversight.

Through various marketing, business assistance, liaison, and community planning activities and events, we help new and existing residents, business owners, visitors, investors, and aspiring entrepreneurs to live, work, and play in an environmentally sustainable way that maintains flourishing business sectors and nurtures an exceptional quality of life.
Membership
If you are 18 years or older and reside within the Local Government District of Pinawa or own a business or non-profit group that is based in Pinawa, you are eligible for membership.
Members of the PCDC can:
Attend regular board meetings
Present at board meetings as delegations
Propose projects and recommend policies and By-Law changes to the PCDC Board of Directors
Elect and be elected as representatives to the PCDC Board of Directors.
Inspect board meeting minutes and financial reports.
Join PCDC Committees and contribute to the work of the PCDC.
How to Join
Members pay an annual membership fee as set by the PCDC board. A person or group can apply for membership at any time. Membership fees are due annually in advance and can be paid in cash at the Pinawa CDC office or by e-transfer . Complete the PCDC Membership Application Form.
The current membership fee is $10.
